Cancellation rules on SpotMe Now: 24-hour window, notice periods (3 days for Depositante / 30 days for Host), pro-rated calculation, and refund process executed by the Host.

Cancellation rules on SpotMe Now (Anexo A) are essentially the same for Hosts and Depositantes, but notice periods and operational responsibility vary by who cancels and when. This page covers every scenario.

cancellation is only valid when done through the Site function. Messages via WhatsApp, email, or phone have no operational or legal effect.

If you’re the Depositante (renting a Space)

If you cancel within 24 hours after the Host confirms the booking, and you have not yet occupied the Space:

You need to give at least 3 calendar days notice. Once the paid month starts, the pro-rated calculation below applies.

Cancellation during an active operation (month started)

If you cancel during a month you already paid in advance:

If your Host cancels without respecting the 30-day notice

The Host has 7 calendar days to return: (i) unoccupied days of the current month, (ii) the full Tarifa de Servicios and Tarifa de Procesamiento for the unoccupied period.

As Host you must notify any cancellation with at least 30 calendar days notice before the effective termination date. During that period the Depositante can continue using the Space and must continue meeting their payment obligations.

How the refund is executed: the Host transfers, not SpotMe

On SpotMe Now, refunds are executed directly by the Host to the Depositante. SpotMe does not issue refunds on the Host’s behalf. The operational process is:

The refund to the Depositante must be completed within 30 calendar days following move-out and handover of the Space.

If the Host does not complete a required refund within the applicable deadline, SpotMe may apply compensation mechanisms against funds pending transfer, under Anexo A.

Cancellations on SpotMe Pro and Traditional

The rules above apply only to SpotMe Now (Anexo A). SpotMe Pro (Anexo B) and SpotMe Traditional (Anexo C) rentals are governed by specific contracts negotiated with the specialist or broker, off-Site. Those operations are not covered by

Cómo se ejecuta el reembolso: el Anfitrión transfiere, no SpotMe

Paso 1

SpotMe captura la CLABE del Depositante al momento de la cancelación y calcula los montos aplicables.

Paso 2

SpotMe reintegra al Anfitrión el proporcional de la Tarifa de Servicios que corresponda devolver.

Paso 3

SpotMe envía un correo al Anfitrión con el monto a reembolsar, la CLABE del Depositante y un checklist de los documentos requeridos.

Paso 4

El Anfitrión realiza la transferencia bancaria al Depositante en SPEI.

Paso 5

El Anfitrión emite la nota de crédito (CFDI de egreso) por el monto reembolsado y la sube al Sitio dentro del mismo mes calendario.

Paso 6

El Anfitrión sube el comprobante bancario al Sitio dentro de los 3 días naturales siguientes al reembolso.

Paso 7

El Depositante recibe un correo de confirmación cuando ambos documentos están cargados en el Sitio.
