How to update your RFC, fiscal regime, and legal name on SpotMe. Difference in withholdings with/without RFC and why it matters.

Your fiscal data — RFC, regime, postal code, legal name — determines two important things on SpotMe: (1) the CFDIs you receive in your name for the operations you make, and (2) the IVA and ISR withholdings SpotMe applies to Hosts (which change dramatically when a Host doesn’t provide their RFC).

If you’re a Depositante: when you need to register RFC

As a Depositante you can operate without a registered RFC — you’ll pay your rent normally. You only need to register it if you want to request an invoice (CFDI) for your payments. If you decide to register:

At checkout you can choose whether you want an individual invoice or one for your team. The Host issues the CFDI to whatever data you select.

Keep your data current at these moments: change of fiscal domicile, change of regime, registration or change of legal name, regularization with SAT. If you receive a SAT notification about your RFC, it’s also time to check what’s registered on SpotMe.

Cómo actualizar tus datos fiscales

Paso 1

Inicia sesión en spotme.mx y entra a tu panel de cuenta.

Paso 2

Busca la sección "Datos fiscales" o "Información fiscal".

Paso 3

Sube tu Constancia de Situación Fiscal vigente (PDF descargable del SAT).

Paso 4

Verifica que coincidan: RFC, régimen fiscal, código postal y razón social.

Paso 5

Guarda los cambios. Recibirás un correo de confirmación.
