We are a platform that facilitates connections between people with available spaces and those who need such places to store all kinds of things.

Hosts offer temporary rental spaces to store items, such as warehouses, parking spaces, or even closets.

Renters need such accommodations to store items like vehicles, collections, furniture, or other items.

How does SpotMe work?

SpotMe is an innovative, easy-to-use, and constantly growing platform that facilitates renting temporary storage spaces.

The Host publishes their available spot on our site, explaining the spaces in detail and setting a rental fee.

The Renter finds these spots on our platform by filtering the type of storage they are looking for according to their interests and needs.

Once the Renter chooses an accommodation, they will send a request to the Host, who can accept or reject the reservation.

The payment process is carried out through our platform to ensure the security and convenience of both parties.

How does SpotMe earn money?

To maintain our services and provide quality attention to all our users, we charge an extra fee to the rental fee requested by the Host. This payment is charged monthly during the rental period of each accommodation.

Our commission is considerably lower than other alternatives in the market, allowing us to remain competitive and provide exceptional service to those who want to rent a space within our community.

Our commission ranges between 6% and 17% depending on the rental value; the fee varies dynamically based on the total monthly rent for each rented accommodation, ensuring that our prices are fair and in line with each user's needs.

What is a spot?

It is any available space that the Host publishes for rent, where Renters can temporarily store their belongings.

The platform allows a wide variety of spots, from rooms, attics, or basements to land, warehouses, parking spaces, and storage facilities. This variety of options allows users to find the ideal storage space according to their needs.

What is a Host on SpotMe?

The Host is the one that offers rental spots to temporarily store the belongings of other people or businesses through our platform.

Hosts generate passive income through these rentals and better use unused spaces such as warehouses and parking spaces.

What is a Renter on SpotMe?

The Renter is the person who rents an accommodation published through SpotMe. Once they find the ideal space for their needs, they can store all kinds of items, including vehicles, collections, furniture, office materials, etc.

Where can I find available spots?

Thanks to our community's constant growth and expansion, you can find spaces throughout Mexico.

Most of our Hosts and Renters are in the main cities of Mexico, but we continue to receive new storage solutions and searches throughout the country. If you still can't find a spot in your area, we are sure that we will be near you very soon.

SpotMe Community Guidelines

At SpotMe, we are more than just a classified ads site. We have created a community where we get to know each other in a safe environment.

Treat everyone with respect and courtesy.

When in doubt, always choose kindness. Do not share offensive content, avoid criticism, and remain positive.

Be honest.

Only list spaces for which you have permission to use. Describe your spot or storage needs accurately. Be honest and transparent about who you are.

Respect the law and SpotMe rules.

Do not engage in illegal activities or promote them. If you find something suspicious, do not hesitate to report it to the authorities. You should always consult our Terms of Service, and Cancellation and Refund Policy.

Treat others' property with care and respect.

Leave the space as it was when you arrived. Do not rearrange or touch other people's items.

Everything stays on SpotMe.

All communication between Hosts and Renters, as well as payments and reservations, must be made through the platform. Only this way can we support both parties in case of an incident.

If you encounter any situation where you believe a user violated a SpotMe guideline, contact our support team as soon as possible.

Referral Program Rules

The SpotMe referral program allows you to invite acquaintances, friends, or family to advertise their accommodations on our platform. This helps SpotMe grow and earns you benefits within the community.

How does it work?

A current SpotMe member sends an invitation to an individual who is not registered on the platform. By completing and verifying the invitation, both parties can benefit.

To complete an invitation, the Referee must:

1. Create a Host account on SpotMe.
2. Upload at least one accommodation.
3. Obtain and complete a qualified rental.
4. Start earning money from that qualified reservation."

Only qualified reservations, as defined below, will generate benefits for the Referee.

Qualified reservation.

A "Qualified Reservation" consists of a completed invitation that:

1. Results in an approved reservation between the new SpotMe user who referred them and a third user who cannot be the one who initially referred them.
2. It results from a transaction under full conditions of competition between an available Host and a Renter looking to rent a spot according to SpotMe's terms of service.
3. It is not done solely to obtain benefits from this Referral Program.
4. It is made by a person who has complied with these rules and the Terms of Service.

Referral Payment

After completing the verification process, we will contact you to explain how to obtain benefits and/or compensation within the SpotMe Referral Program.

Additional rules

The Referrer and the Referee must accept these rules and the Terms of Service to participate. Participants cannot engage in any conduct that artificially fulfills referrals or violates applicable electronic or other communications laws. Participants cannot make any statements, warranties, or representations regarding the Services that SpotMe does not make public. Participants cannot make false, misleading, or fraudulent statements regarding the Services or their participation in the Referral Program. Participants cannot offer compensation or consideration to any person to induce them to become SpotMe customers. Participants cannot engage in any other illegal or immoral conduct with the intent of fulfilling a referral. Participants cannot create or possess more than one account for the purposes of this program, either directly or in connection with another person. Referrers and Referees cannot be members of the same household. The invitation and reward are only valid for new users. If an invited Host lists more than one spot, the Referrer will only receive credit for one booked space. SpotMe reserves the right to exclude or disqualify anyone who alters or attempts to alter the registration process, the operation of the referral program, or the website, violates these rules or takes any action that, at SpotMe's sole discretion, tends to reduce the quality of the ads and the prestige of the community.

Affiliate Program

For individuals

If you are a Host or a Renter on SpotMe, you can participate in the platform's Referral Program. This program allows you to invite others via email or a personalized link. If you recommend someone who registers as a Host, gets an approved reservation, and earns money on SpotMe, both you and the Referee can benefit.

For editors

You can access the affiliate program if you own a website or regularly post on web portals. You will receive benefits and/or compensation according to the number of users referred. Contact us for more details about this program.

How to track my referral invitations

Once you have sent your referral link to friends and family, you can track your invitations from our platform to know when they are verified and when they meet their goals.

International Restrictions

Currently, you can only make reservations with cards issued in Mexico.

To list a spot on SpotMe, its location must be a valid address within the Mexican territory.

SpotMe Reviews Policy

In a constant effort to create a SpotMe community where trust and security prevail between Hosts and Renters, we invite all users to make helpful, sincere, informative, and objective reviews.

Relevant and impartial reviews

Reviews are helpful when they provide objective information. SpotMe community members read these reviews to learn more about the Host and the spot they promote.

Community members are not allowed to offer incentives for positive reviews, threaten Hosts with a negative review to manipulate a desired outcome, influence someone else's review with the promise of compensation, or take any action that may undermine the effectiveness or accuracy of reviews.

Users cannot accept fake reservations in exchange for a positive review, use a second account to leave a review or coordinate with business partners to get positive reviews.

Reviews cannot contain illegal or offensive content.

User opinions cannot contain material that (i) infringes, misappropriates, or violates any patent, copyright, trademark, trade secret, moral rights, or other intellectual property rights, or rights of publicity or privacy of any third party; (ii) infringes or encourages any conduct that would violate any applicable law or regulation or would give rise to civil liability; (iii) is defamatory, obscene, pornographic, vulgar, or offensive; (iv) promotes discrimination, intolerance, racism, hatred, harassment, or harm against any individual or group; (v) is violent or threatening or promotes violence or actions that threaten any other person; or (vi) promotes illegal or harmful activities or substances.

Moderating Reviews

We invite all users to post only truthful and accurate information. Although SpotMe is not a fact-checker and does not mediate disputes about the truthfulness of reviews, we are committed to doing our best to help ensure honest user experiences.

As a result, reviews may be removed when they violate this policy, show inappropriate bias, are used for extortion or incentives, or are irrelevant.

Reviews may be removed from the SpotMe platform for reservations where a Renter has violated the Terms of Service. We do this to protect our Hosts if a Renter violates SpotMe guidelines so that they can rest assured that there will be no biased review.

Non-Endorsement Policy

Reviews and any other content submitted by a user are subjective opinions of the community member who posted it. It is established that these reviews do not reflect SpotMe's opinions, and SpotMe does not endorse them.
