What it feels like

Ask AI for storage in Mexico

Once the MCP is connected, these questions activate SpotMe automatically. The assistant calls our tools, receives live inventory, and shows real prices with booking links.

  1. 01

I need a 10 m² mini storage unit in Polanco for under $4,500/month

search_listings: up to 5 active mini-bodegas with price, m², and booking link.

  2. 02

How much is monthly parking in Monterrey Centro?

get_pricing_guide: estimated monthly range and typical size for parking in that city.

  3. 03

Show me commercial warehouses near Apodaca under $80,000

search_listings + get_city_overview: B2B options with neighborhoods and price ranges.

  4. 04

    Summarize this link: spotme.mx/c/abc123

get_listing_summary: space type, m², monthly price, and the property's area.

Install

Connect in under a minute

Works with any Model Context Protocol client. If you use Claude.ai or ChatGPT, just paste the URL.

MCP server URL

https://server.spotme.mx/mcp

No params: public discovery (read-only). Access is anonymous or via auto-approve OAuth.

  1. 01

    Open your assistant

In Claude.ai: Settings → Connectors → Add custom MCP. In ChatGPT: Settings → Connectors. Other MCP clients follow the same pattern.

  2. 02

    Paste the URL

Copy https://server.spotme.mx/mcp into the URL field. The server auto-discovers its tools and OAuth policies.

  3. 03

    Ask away

Ask the assistant for storage or parking in Mexico. The tools appear in your chat and run on the first relevant prompt.

Four tools, for now

What your assistant can ask us for

The whole public surface is read-only. Every response includes a short URL back to spotme.mx so the user completes the rental on the platform.

search_listings

Find available spaces in a Mexican city by type (self-storage, parking, commercial warehouse, industrial warehouse). Returns up to 5 listings with direct links.

get_city_overview

City-level inventory summary: counts by space type, top neighborhoods, and price ranges.

get_pricing_guide

Estimated monthly price range for a space type in a city, optionally narrowed by m². Pure benchmark — does not return individual listings.

get_listing_summary

Resolves a short ID (the segment after spotme.mx/c/) and returns size, price, neighborhood, and a link.

We iterate based on what AI assistants and our users actually ask for — expect more tools as real use cases surface. Any change ships in the open descriptor.

An admin tier (mcp:admin) exists, reserved for SpotMe staff for internal debugging. It is not available to general-purpose AI assistants.

How we protect hosts

Discoverable to humans via AI, hostile to scrapers

Read-only, no pagination

No tool writes data. We expose no cursors or offsets, so enumerating the full inventory is not viable.

Addresses and contacts redacted

Returned listings do not include exact addresses or host contact info. Only city, neighborhood, m² and price.

Per-IP and per-client caps

Anonymous: 20 req/min, max 30 distinct listings per IP every 24h. With OAuth: 60 req/min, 200 listings/day. Excess returns aggregated benchmarks.

Mandatory attribution

Every response carries a short URL back to spotme.mx. The AI is instructed to surface it so the user closes the transaction on the platform.
