Are the Renters and Hosts on SpotMe trustworthy?

Yes, all SpotMe community members must undergo a rigorous identity verification process.

Anyone who wishes to join the community and use the platform must comply with this requirement to guarantee everyone's trust and security.

Our priority is security and transparency among all users; we take the measures implemented to maintain a reliable experience for everyone very seriously.


How do I know what items will be stored in my spot?

During the reservation process, the Renter must share photos showing the items they want to store in your spot. As a Host, you can accept or reject any reservation depending on the items the Renter wants to store.


Can anyone work or reside in the advertised spots?

No. To ensure your confidence and comfort, working or living in the spaces published on SpotMe is prohibited.

All spots on our platform are intended exclusively for storing items or objects, thus ensuring a suitable environment for safe leasing.

Our priority is to offer a reliable and transparent experience for all community members.


Is it safe to make payments through SpotMe?

Our top priority is the security of your payments and transparency during transactions. We use secure servers and cutting-edge technology to encrypt your personal data end-to-end.

Your card data is encrypted, and no one can access it. SpotMe uses Stripe, a gateway that meets all PCI requirements. You can rest easy knowing that your payments are always processed securely. 

The system automatically charges month after month, ensuring that your payments are processed promptly. We will notify you if a reservation is canceled.


Is my personal data shared with other members?

No. Your data is kept secure and private; no one can access it. We recommend that you do not share any confidential information with other users and only communicate through our platform; this will help us keep the platform and transactions secure.


If I have an inconvenience, can I contact you?

Yes. We offer customer service Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., ready to help you with any situation.
